About Us

Background

Here at Blessed Brews were passionate about beer and the brewery trade in general. Having worked in the trade for a number of years we appreciate the art form of brewing and what goes into making the perfect brew from a DIPA to an Imperial Stout, the classic Real Ale to the Sour Saison. We're interested in what goes on behind the scenes from the grain bill to the hop varieties used and when their applied, from the early bittering, late whirlpool editions and dry hopping stages. So with this thirst for knowledge and always searching out for a new brews we've not yet tried we like to think we've got a pretty good knowledge of beer.

Our Values and Vows

So in 2020 we finally decided to take the plunge to go out on our own to supply and distribute some of our favorite beers from the best independent breweries straight to the beer lovers door. We believe in doing things properly to the best possible standards as the old saying goes if there's a job worth doing, it's worth doing properly which is why all our beer for the website distribution is kept refrigerated in a dark cold store. This means it reaches our customers in prime dank condition as the brewer intended, as beer is greatly affected by temperature and light this in turn will mean it loses many of its flavor notes through poor storage. A brewers favorite quotes being "hops fade fast" and "cold beer is happy beer". We think good storage practices should be an a necessity in the supply chain as with all the effort that goes into making the perfect brew why harm the product in the final stages and a perfect reason why to bypass the big supermarkets to support a passionate small independent company where we live, breathe and dream beer.

Foreseeable Future

We aim to bring an ever changing mix of seasonal, limited availability and new beer for our beer boxes and bottle shop so keep up with our ever changing range through our Facebook, Instagram and twitter pages.
